Philosophy Wire: The Martian day. The Earthly day. Being in sync…

Philosophy Wire by Spiros Kakos [2016-05-02]: The Martian day or "sol" is 37 minutes longer than a day on Earth. This means that our Earthling circadian rhythms don't match the red planet's rotational speed. This means that humans would have a hard time living on this planet. [1] An all too easy conclusion which disregards one basic truth: that all things finally synchronize with each other after being close together. From the pendulums on the wall (coupled oscillations) to the Earth and the Moon, our cosmos is dancing the same song. It is just that the new dancers need a little bit more time to adjust to the rhythm. In our short sighted perception everything seems different. In due time (= without time) everything is One.
